In this session, Daisy will run you through the paces of the kind of training she does with her puppies to lay a solid foundation for their agility careers. Though open to people with dogs of any age, the focus will be on tricks, and the exercises are geared toward puppies who are 10 months of age and younger.

Important aspects of a solid agility foundation will be covered in this topic, to include recall to heel and jump training. Though open to people with dogs of any age, the focus will be on exercises that are suitable for dogs who are ready to begin jump training (10/11 months and older).

Blind Crosses: when they are done well, they are poetry in motion; when they are not done well, they are an NQ waiting to happen. In this evening workshop, Daisy Peel will teach you the finer points of executing rear crosses successfully.

The focus of the day will be improving handling for better turns and more efficient execution of jump sequences for the highest levels of agility competition. This will include front and rear crosses, "blended" front crosses, blind crosses, back-side jumping, challenging weave entries, discriminations.
